BEAUTIFULLY HAND SEWN CURTAINS, BLINDS, CUSHIONS AND UPHOLSTERY

Phillippa Kirby Soft Furnishings is a bespoke curtain, blind and soft furnishings studio based in Hindringham, close to the North Norfolk coast.

We create beautifully made curtains, blinds and soft furnishings for both contemporary and traditional interiors, working with an extensive collection of fabrics from some of the leading names in interior textiles. We also offer a re-upholstery service, giving much-loved pieces a new lease of life.

For clients in Norfolk, our consultation service allows us to visit your home, understand the space and discuss ideas, fabrics and practical considerations. Clients are also very welcome to visit our Hindringham studio by appointment, where they can browse the fabric library at leisure and talk through their project over a cup of coffee.

We also work with clients in London and further afield, using email, telephone and video consultations to provide the same personal and carefully considered service wherever a project may be.

PHILLIPPA'S STORY

With a lifelong interest in fine craft, textiles and design, Phillippa trained in fine furniture restoration and soft furnishings at West Dean College in Sussex and the National Design Academy.

After moving to Norfolk, she established Phillippa Kirby Soft Furnishings. More than ten years later, the studio continues to work with clients across North Norfolk and beyond, combining beautiful fabrics, traditional skills and thoughtful design with the personal service of an independent studio.

Every project is bespoke. Whether a single blind or curtains and soft furnishings for an entire home, Phillippa takes the time to understand how a room is used, how it should feel and what each client hopes to achieve.

Each project is personally managed from the initial consultation and fabric selection through to making and installation, with close attention paid to every detail along the way.
